Ah, salsa. It’s one of the greatest condiments/sauces/side dishes that has ever been made. And the fun part about salsa is that you can create so many different versions of it! Like our Mango Salsa with Avocado.
Now, this is considered a pretty simple salsa recipe, but the prep can take a bit of time if you’re not too handy with the old chopping. But basically, chop and dice all your ingredients.
Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and juice one lime on top of the mixture. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt.
Stir all of the ingredients together and then let it rest! Serve along side with chips or with a Coconut Poached Cod!
the recipe: mango salsa with avocado
2 ripe mangos, diced
2 avocados, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced small
1 jalapeño, minced
1/2 red onion, diced small
1/2 cup cilantro packed, chopped
1 lime, juiced
Pinch sea salt to taste
Chop and dice everything. Toss into a bowl with salt and lime juice. Let rest for 10 minutes and serve. Can be store for up to one week in airtight container, but best served fresh.
