Cold Brew Irish Coffee with Irish Whiskey and Cream

03.14.19 - BY Nona Raybern

Irish Coffee. One of the many drinks that spring to mind when thinking of the Emerald Isles. But if you’re not into hot coffees, why not try it as a Cold Brew Irish Coffee?

Cold brew coffee has many benefits. There’s no fuss to making it and the coffee has a lower acidity than with typical brewing methods. We love using our Cold Brew Coffee Maker. The filter comes with the pitcher. Simply place in the grounds, fill with cold water, and steep for 12-24 hours. Remove the filter when ready, pour, and serve! Our Cold Brew Coffee Maker is also 100% dishwasher safe, so clean up is super easy.

But onto the good stuff, obviously. With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, we wanted to make drink that’ll really get the pre-funk going. This Cold Brew Irish Coffee recipe is simple. 6 ounces of cold brew at full strength, 1 oz of Irish whiskey, 1 oz of Irish cream liqueur, and if you like it sweeter, 1 oz of simple syrup. All over ice. Put in a reusable straw or one of our new festive Paper Straws and get to sipping!

Really, we love our new paper straw collection. We are working on providing more solutions for an eco-friendly lifestyle. Our straws are made with sustainable paper and triple-ply, so you don’t end up with a mushy mouth. Plus, once done, they are completely biodegradable. Great for parties and gatherings, but if you want something reusable, we got you covered there too.

So have a great St. Paddy’s Day with your Cold Brew Irish Coffee! Also, don’t forget to wear green and to remind everyone around you that you are at least 15% Irish on your Grandma’s side while wearing a “Kiss Me I’m Irish” shirt.
