Strawberry Ginger Rosé Sangria

Patio brunches, so hot right now. Literally, so hot right now because the temperature reaches unbearable levels in the Summer. Luckily, we’ve created a bright and delicious cocktail to keep you cool over the next few months while you’re lounging in the heat. And with a low ABV, this drink won’t dehydrate you like normal cocktails (looking at you, mimosa). Our Strawberry Ginger Rosé Sangria keeps it fresh and simple, rounding out the flavors with a bit of bubbly soda water.

Firstly, let’s talk about these fun straws that we just got in. RSVP International prides itself on its collection of stainless steel straws and finding ways to reduce plastic waste. We’ve now added a few new additions to our collection, including the Endurance® Short Drink Straws! Or as we affectionately call them in the office, the Shorties!

Okay, now let’s get down to why you’re actually here. The Strawberry Ginger Rosé Sangria.

The ingredients are simple. Fresh lime juice, macerated strawberries, ginger simple syrup, any kind of still Rosé wine, and soda water. Combine it all into a pitcher and this brunch cocktail is ready to serve. The lovely part about this drink is you can premake all the components and keep them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to drink, just don’t pour the sparkling water until you’re ready to serve. Just pour the sparkling water last to really keep that fizz.

But is it a sangria or a cocktail?

Most sangrias have some type of brandy or liquer in them and omit a mixer. But with low ABV (alcohol by volume) cocktails on trend right now, we wanted to keep it simple. So call it what you want! Call it a cocktail, punch, or sangria. Just make it with love and get to drinking at brunch. Cheers!
